DAY6 Young K is back with a new solo album and he’s kicking off his music broadcast activities with his new song ‘Guard You’. Find out more about his comeback and future plans in this blog post.
Young K’s Solo Comeback
After his mini album ‘Eternal’ in 2021, Young K has made his solo comeback with his first full album ‘Letters with notes’ and the title track ‘Guard You’. He will be appearing on various music shows including Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’, KBS 2TV’s ‘Music Bank’, MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’, and SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’ to captivate viewers with his sensitive charm.
About the Title Track ‘Guard You’
The title track ‘Guard You’ expresses the heart that can’t let go of a love that is slowly fading away with poignant lyrics and melody. The song was co-written with composer Hong Ji-sang, who has been working with DAY6 for a long time, and Young K delivers a deep resonance to listeners with his appealing vocals this fall.
Young K’s Future Plans
As an ‘all-rounder artist’ who is active in various fields such as vocalist, bassist, writer, and radio DJ, Young K is also gearing up for global activities. He will be holding his first solo concert overseas in Jakarta, Indonesia on October 28th and in Bangkok, Thailand on December 2nd, meeting with local My Day (fandom name) and continuing the heat of the performance.
