DAY6’s Young K is back with a solo comeback, kicking off his music broadcast activities with the new song ‘Nothing But This’ on M Countdown today.

Young K’s Solo Comeback

After his first mini-album ‘Eternal’ in September 2021, Young K has made a comeback as a solo artist with the release of his first full-length album ‘Letters with notes’ and the title track ‘Nothing But This’ on September 4, two years later. He will be appearing on various music shows, starting with Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ on the 7th, KBS 2TV’s ‘Music Bank’ on the 8th, MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’ on the 9th, and SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’ on the 10th, stimulating the viewers’ early autumn sensibilities.

‘Nothing But This’ Title Track

The title track ‘Nothing But This’ expresses the heart that can’t let go of a gradually disappearing love with sorrowful lyrics and melody. Composer Hong Ji-sang, who has been working with DAY6 for a long time, added his touch, and Young K delivers a deep resonance to listeners this fall with his appealing vocals.

Young K’s First Solo Concert

As the writer of the new work ‘Letters with notes’, which means ‘letters written in notes’, ‘letters with music’, Young K participated in the work of all 11 songs included in the new album. Ahead of the official release of the new album, he held his first solo concert at Donghae Culture and Arts Center at Kwangwoon University in Seoul from September 1 to 3, proving his singer-songwriter capabilities by presenting all the songs included in the first full-length album on the live stage.
