Kang Dong Won’s thriller movie ‘Designer’, where he plays the role of a designer manipulating a staged murder, is set to be released on the 29th of next month as announced by the distributor NEW on the 22nd.
Plot Overview
‘Designer’ depicts the story of designer Yeong-il (played by Kang Dong Won) who manipulates a contract murder into a perfect accident, only to get entangled in unexpected events.
Cast
Starring Im Soo Jung, Lee Hyun Wook, and Tang Jun Sang as members of Yeong-il’s team, and Jung Eun Chae as the client requesting the murder. Lee Moo Saeng portrays an insurance specialist handling aftermaths, while Lee Dong Hwi takes on the role of a cyber leaker.
Production Details
Based on the 2009 Hong Kong film ‘Accident’, ‘Designer’ was initially introduced with the same title during production but was later renamed before its release. Directed by Lee Yo Seob, known for ‘The Queen of Crime’ (2016) among other works.
